Description

4 bedrooms, sleeps 9

Stay in this wonderful house, with unrivalled views; an absolutely unique, sea-front early 18th Century home. Norr Rock was originally built as a Sea Captain's house and has since been a Convent, a Retirement home for "Genteel ladies" and a hotel during the 2nd World war and later. In the last 15 years it has been a family home for my four children, but now they are grown up it is time to open up our home to allow guests to enjoy, as much as we have, the welcoming atmosphere and amazing views! This quirky, unusual home - with many original features - has featured in House Beautiful and was also seen in the recent Turner film. Your stay will be unforgettable!

How to get here

If following sat nav, DO NOT go up Lower Row, as it will lead to a non-vehicular road! Instead, go down Fore Street to the bottom, with the Halfway House in front, turn left and go past the ClockTower Institute, past the Boatstore cafe on left and then the Devonport Inn and Norr Rock is right at the end around the corner. STOP just at the corner, unload if necessary and then take car back to public car park next to the Halfway pub or park on road in designated parking zones.
