Set in beautiful woodland overlooking the picturesque Cornish Coast, The Monkey Sanctuary has been offering a safe home for life to monkeys in need since 1964. Much more than just monkeys, we offer a great day out for the whole family, and you can rest assured that 100% of all income from our visitors goes to support out charitable work protecting primates and habitats. The Monkey Sanctuary cares for four different species of monkeys; all rescued from the UK and international primate pet trades. Our visitors receive an intimate insight into a working sanctuary with keepers on hand all day to give informative talks on the centre’s residents and the charity’s wider work. The Sanctuary offers a great day out for all the family, with wildlife gardens, children’s activity room, workshops, gift shop, café and picnic areas. worldwide. We look forward to seeing you soon!

How to get here
 
From Plymouth: take A38 to the Trerulefoot roundabout (near Tideford). Take first exit off roundabout (signposted Looe and Polperro). Follow road then take right turn (towards Looe and Polperro). Follow road through Hessenford and, at No Mans Land, take left turn and follow signs to Monkey Sanctuary.
